    lengthandconditionfactorarequantitativetraitsinfluencedbyanumberofgeneswithrelativelysmalleffects,andenvironmentaleffects.Thesetraitscouldbeimprovedbyphenotypicselection,butthegeneticgaincanbeincreasedmorerapidlywithmarker-assistedselection.poorlyunderstoodinfish.AfewQTLforgrowth-relatedtraitsThus,moremarkersareneededtothenewlydevelopedTRAP(targetregionamplifiedpolymorphism)PCR-basedmolecularmarkertechnique.ThereareseveraladvantagesofTRAPoverotherDNAmarkertechniques.IthasthefavorablefeaturethatcombineshighilysebioinformaticstoolsandESTdatabaseinformationtogeneratepolymorphicmarkersaroundtargetgenesequences significantassociationinanimprovedstrainofcommoncarp.,wereusedtodesignfixedprimerforpairingwithfouracombinationsofprimerwerescreenedtobeabletoproduceclearbandingpatternsandpolymorphisms.Theaverageofpolymorphisminformationcontent(PIC),Nei'sgenediversityandGenotypicdifferencesoftestweightgroup135P32growth-relatedtrait-markersapossiblefunctionalgenelocusrelatedtogrowthwasfoundin.ItprovidedbasisforlocalizationofQTLconcerningimportanttraitsandmarker-assistantselection.
