Abstract:Brachionusrotundiformisbyextractionsolventsofdifferentmixingproportionwithdifferentextractingtimeswerestudied.Threeextractionsolventsweredesigned(chloroform:methanol(1:2,benzene:petroleumether(1:2,acetone:petroleumether(2:3)toextractfreeze-driedrotiferlipidswith1–3timesextraction.ThelipidsyieldandsaponificationnumbersweredeterminedandwerecomparedwiththeSoxhletextractormethod(nationalstandard).>0.05)affectlipidcontentinalltreatedgroups,andoptimumsolventproportionwasdeterminedtobechloroform:methanol2:1,benzene:petroleumether1:2andacetone:petroleumether2:3.Thelipidandsaponificationnumberofacetone:petroleumether2:3treatmentwere9.71%and198,respectively,andweresignificantly(<0.05)higherthanthatoftheSoxhletextractormethodandothertreatments.Theresultssuggestthatonetimeextractionbyacetone:petroleumether2:3wouldbetheoptimumtreatmentforlipidsextractiononfreeze-driedrotifers.
