    Abstract:

Based on data collected from bottom trawl surveys in Haizhou Bay and the adjacent areas during March, May, July, September and December in 2011, the population parameters of five major fish species (Cynoglossus lighti, ) were analyzed. ) (0.76), followed by values for the other three fish species were less than 0.6. The highest total mortality coefficient((3.53), (1.60) had the lowest had the highest exploitation rates(values for these four species were 0.74, 0.74, 0.73 and 0.60, respectively. However, the lowest E. fangi and (length at first capture) values(145.2, 107.1 and 98.7 mm, respectively). However, values(60.0 and 48.4 mm, respectively). The growth performance indexes ( in different areas had relatively higher values in the lower latitude areas.
